Rosie
de Lloyd is a highly experienced professional ‘cellist
with a wealth of experience in engaging musicians for concerts,
weddings & corporate events. Before moving to Cardiff,
she was a member of English National Opera, during which
time she also played for the BBC Concert Orchestra and
various other ensembles. In 1989 she founded the Wingfield
Ensemble and The Welsh Sinfonia. While Rosie still manages
the Wingfield Ensemble she has, facing a new challenge,
set up the Welsh Concert Orchestra. The new orchestra focuses
on Operatic and Choral repertoire. Her mission is to make
music accessible to all tastes and all ages. An accomplished
arranger, she specialises in trio, quartet and chamber
orchestra reductions. The Welsh Concert Orchestra All events catered for especially choral, operatic and corporate events.

The Welsh Concert Orchestra is a group of highly experienced musicians comprising musicians from the BBC NOW, WNO & Welsh Sinfonia.
This newly formed orchestra has already distinguished itself as an accompanying orchestra.
The orchestra is available for hire for concerts, media, opera and choral accompaniments.

Wingfield is an ensemble of distinguished professional musicians. Of flexible constitution, it performs music ranging from the “serious” to light-hearted, palm court to pop, opera to musicals.
All of our musicians are experienced with studio recording and have worked worked on many TV and film productions.
Wingfield is suitable for all venues and all occasions.
